Without them, many fruits, vegetables, and even honey would disappear. Unfortunately, the honey bee population is declining due to pesticides, climate change, and deforestation. If we don’t act now to protect them, we risk losing more than just honey – we risk our entire ecosystem. At Doree, a portion of proceeds is dedicated to supporting initiatives focused on the preservation and protection of bee populations. The Task Our goal was to craft a cohesive and inspiring brand experience that resonated with TEDx’s mission of "ideas worth spreading." To capture this, I used magnetic letters and toy trucks to symbolize his inner child. To contrast with this youthful energy, I incorporated one of his signature elements—weed—by filling the trucks with various cooking spices, blending his past and present in a fun, unexpected way. x-heights, weights, and shapes. To complete the project, I designed a space-themed specimen that showcases the full character set, aligning with the font’s cosmic name. After sketching the alphabet, I digitized the designs in Glyphs, defining specific heights for each element. The image below highlights the points used to create the letter S.
